Through the IMAGINE FOUNDATION, we run various outreach projects. We’ve been able to be a part of lives being changed through meeting the desperate needs of so many people.
We have the privilege of serving thousands of meals and food packs to adults and children each year, through our Jackson Park daily feeding program and partnerships with other organisations in need.
SHINE A LIGHT and PROJECT JOY also gives us an opportunity to serve over-and-above as we launch a relevant outreach initiative, like Christmas & stationery packs, school uniforms, blankets etc. each year.
Serving is who we are, and through SERVE DAY we are able to reach even more people. This is a dedicated day where members of Imagine Church all have the opportunity to join an outreach project and go into the community and shine the light of Jesus by serving our world.

What does SERVE DAY entail?

Get registered for one of our Serve Day projects.

Meet on campus for check in, coffee & tea, prayer & huddle with Pastors, then meet up with your team leader for the morning.

Serve at your allocated project - making a difference in our community.
Times for Serve Day:
7:00am: Campus Opens
7:15am: Check In with tea and coffee
8:00am: Prayer in main auditorium
8:15am: Project specific huddles
8:30am: Leave for off-campus projects

11:00am – 12pm: End on-campus projects with celebration
1:00pm – 2pm: End off-campus projects with celebration

Please ensure there is parental supervision per child registered for both on-campus and off-campus projects.
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Once you check in, we will have a Serve Day t-shirt available for you.
What do I do with my kids?
Your kids can join you on your project (please be sure to register them). Parental supervision is required on all projects off-campus and on-campus. We will have a Kids Serve Day project happening on campus that you can check them into, provided you are registered for one of our on-campus projects.
Item drop-off for distribution.
Clothing, shoes, matric dance outfits, toiletries and girls sanitary items, blankets, non-perishable food, books and toys can be dropped off at Imagine Church on Sundays (8AM, 10AM, 12PM) or Mon-Thur (9AM - 5PM).
Serve Day Projects
Maintenance & upgrades at Imagine Church Jackson campus, Tracy’s Day Care and Lerato School, soccer day with kids and hygiene pack handout for girls.
Various projects including property maintenance, upgrades, cleaning and social activities with kids.
Litter pick-up throughout Joburg south.
Driving and deliveries; food prep for serve teams.
Cupcakes and sandwich making for the community and those in service.
Various projects including property maintenance, upgrades, cleaning and hygiene pack handout for girls.
Various projects including property maintenance, upgrades, cleaning and social activities with kids.
Station upgrades and cleaning; cupcake delivery for staff.
Packing of food parcels, clothing, books and toys. Matric outfits sorting and food prep for parcel handouts.
Discipleland-aged kids will be doing arts and crafts for the community and those in service.
Various projects including property maintenance, upgrades, cleaning and social activities with kids.
Station upgrades and cleaning; cupcake delivery for staff.
